PROTECTION SERVICE CONTRACTS

Whenever anything goes wrong with your gas home heating or hot water system, all it takes is one call to Cape Cod Gas Heat & Hot Water and a service technician will come out and take care of everything for you. In the event you are without heat or hot water, Cape Cod Gas provides 24 hour, 365 day emergency service to all our contracted customers. Service calls from customers that have Protection Service Contracts with us take priority over those from non-contracted customers.

Parts covered under this contract:
Gas Valve, Regulator, Main Burner, Pilot Burner, Electric Ignition/Spark Module,*Thermostat, Fan Control, Limit Control, Transformer, Taco Zone Valve (Head Only),Fan Motor, Belts & Pulleys, Thermocouple, Manifold, Flame Spreader, Pressure Gauge, Pilot Tubing & Fittings, Power Pile Generator, Pump Coupler, **Circulating Pump & Motor
*standard thermostat for home heating**only one additional will be covered at regular rates
Protection begins the minute you sign the contract and extends
for one year from that date.

What the plan does not include:
The contract does not include routing inspections, cleanings, draining of boiler water, venting of system, seasonal checks or any work considered electrical, remote controls, logs, glass, plumbing or sheet metal. Also excluded are materials for repair or replacement of the following: filter, clock thermostats, water feed valves, back flow prevent, blower housings, chimney maintenance, leaky boiler sections, heat exchangers, water coils, humidifiers, motorized dampers, flue dampers, flue exhausters, piping, zone valve bodies, expansion tanks, type-b-vents, vent dampers, cooling equipment, trim, light bulbs, insulation, clocks, parts for obsolete equipment and devices added to the original equipment. Cape Cod Gas Heat & Hot Water will not be responsible for damage to the equipment or failure of equipment to operate as a result of water damage, fire, freezing, vandalism, abuse or direct (including lost profits), indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from equipment failure.
